Great minds think in every language.
Resilience Training, Career Strategy, and STEM education in the language you think in — for regional medium students the system was never built to serve.
Join UsA misplaced focus on English medium is holding the country back.
State after state, the data says the same thing: the overwhelming majority of India’s students study in their own regional language, not English. Yet the country’s attention, media, and edtech spend keep chasing the minority. It’s time to wake up from the slumber — and build for the students who are actually there.
Share of students studying in regional medium, by State/UTMultilingualism is a Superpower.
Millions of bright regional-medium students fall behind — not for lack of talent, but because quality STEM education doesn’t exist in the language they actually think in. India has 26 official languages. 57 % of its internet users consume content in regional languages. The failure to offer world-class education in those languages is entirely fixable.
A language is not just words.
It is a way of seeing the world.
Outdated Victorian-era teacher-dependent system leaves millions behind.
India’s education system runs on a single flawed assumption: a good teacher is available. For the majority of India’s 250 million students — educated in regional languages, that assumption has never been true. More than 13,000 students died by suicide in 2021 due to stress. 6.5 million students failed their board exams. These are not accidents. They are structural outcomes of an unfair colonial-era system built to serve the top five percent.
Not a victim.
A protagonist.
The most capable students in India are invisible to the system — wrong language, under-resourced schools, no mentors, no roadmaps, and no focus on inner resilience for facing life's challenges. Give the student the right method and the right language. She compounds on her own.
Quality teaching.
In natural language.

When I turned to education, I brought the same rigor — because the students who need it the most deserve nothing less. 4sh is not a startup. We’re looking to partner with Corporates as well as State Education Departments to understand if/when/how we can constructively work together on this cause. Needless to say, we need passionate hands — for newsletters, content, storytelling, data science, and outreach to students studying in regional medium. If you have time and interest, we will be very grateful for your help and support.
